Terms of participation for the 'Philips MyCreation giveaway' campaign

General

1. The following terms and conditions apply to the 'Philips MyCreation giveaway' campaign, which is organised by Signify Netherlands B.V., based in Eindhoven at High Tech Campus 48, hereinafter referred to as 'Signify'.

2. The Promotion starts on 14 October 2022 and closes on 21 October 2022.

3. Participation takes place by (i) following our Philips MyCreation Instagram account on the Philips MyCreation Instagram account; (ii) Share the post in your story & tag @philipsmycreation (iii) Tag 3 friends in the comments. Participation is complete once all conditions (1. Follow us on Instagram; 2. Share the post in your story & tag @philipsmycreation; 3. Tag 3 friends in the comments) are met and official participation in this giveaway is when the comment is posted under the 14 October post.

Selection criteria

  1. Participant is a resident of the Netherlands aged 18 years or older.

  2. Participation must be done using your own registered Instagram account.

  3. There is no entry fee to enter this competition. Only one entry is allowed per user per Contest. Participants found cheating (for instance, creating shell/fake social media accounts to take part in the Giveaway will be disqualified immediately.

  4. Employees of Signify and other employees involved in carrying out the Giveaway, may not take part in the Giveaway.

  5. Participation in the giveaway constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions of the Giveaway.  Prizes will be awarded in accordance with and subject to these terms and conditions.  Any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions will be deemed invalid. Signify reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions of the Giveaway at any time without prior notice.

  6. This Giveaway may require participants to ensure that his/her social media account settings allow for public view during the duration of the Contest. In the event that Signify is unable to verify the entry due to incorrect account settings, the entry will be considered invalid and voided.

Designation of the winner

  1. Entries will be selected at random based on the fulfilment of the criteria of the Giveaway.

  2. Prize winners will be notified via the mode of entry submission unless otherwise stated and may be required to private message Philips MyCreation via the social media platform of the Contest they participated in to provide their personal details (name, email and contact number) for the purposes of identity verification for prize collection.

  3. Should the winner be un-contactable, Signify reserves the right to award the prize to a replacement winner or forfeit the prize.

  4. In the event of a dispute, the winner's right is subject to the judgment and final decision of Signify. Signify's decision is final and no correspondence will be considered.

Prize

  1. Prize: 1x Coastal Breeze series: fishnet table lamp and 1x Philips Hue WACA bulb

  2. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

  3. The prize can only be shipped within the Netherlands.

Publication & privacy

  1. Data will be processed in accordance with the Signify Privacy Notice.

  2. It is a condition of entry that winners consent to the publication of their names and social media platform identifiers (in the format of username, profile, comments they they posted) on the relevant social media platforms for publicity purposes.

 

Liability

  1. Signify and/or any third parties engaged by it shall not liable for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any participant as a result of entering the Contest or accepting the prize or any injury or damage to the participant's or any other person's personal property including but not limited to a computer or mobile telephone relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading/uploading any materials in connection with the Giveaway.

  2. Participants acknowledge that the promotion is at their own risk. (Any cost associated with entering the Contest is the participant’s responsibility)

Signify will take questions or complaints about the Giveaway, and will contact you about the settlement.  Final provisions

  1. All intellectual property rights relating to this action, including all texts and images published by Signify, belong to Signify.

  2. These conditions of action can be accessed via Philips MyCreation’s website.

  3. These terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes arising from or related to this promotion will be submitted to the court in 'sHertogenbosch.
